The vibrant Startup Nation – modern Israel epitomizes three thousand years of history. This history consists of the stories of the people of Israel, men and women struggling with the harsh conditions of the land, in addition to its location as a bridge between two continents and many empires and the birthplace of the three monotheistic religions – Judaism, Christianity and later Islam. During the tour, I will share with you the story of this country through the eyes, tales and anecdotes of the people who built it. I will connect you with the dots tying together each chapter of the country's fascinating story. We will experience the saga of a people toiling hard to survive and flourish in the harsh conditions of this land. We shall connect it to the story of the people who created Judaism, Christianity and Islam, We shall learn about the traditions and customs that were developed by the country's many rulers  together with its unique culture. During the recent Covid pandemic I pursued MA studies in Jewish Studies focusing on Mishna and Talmud. While visiting Biblical sites I will highlight Jewish life during the first century that also included the period of the life of Christ and how it is reflected in the Christian Scriptures.

The tour will also touch on the complex current political situation and the economy that propels the people of our country. We shall look into the past, understand the present and ponder about the future.  I am a native of Israel, having grown up in Jerusalem in a family of prominent journalists, political analysts and spokesperson of three Israeli prime ministers. As a teenager I participated in an archaeological dig in the  City of David. I also hold an MA degree in International Relations from American University in Washington D.C. We shall of course discuss the turbulent and seemingly permanent crisis in the Middle East, its origins and prospects for its resolution.

I have also designed a special tour for visitors who come here on business and will discuss the unique business culture of Israel. Before becoming a tour guide, I worked for many years in in the Israeli Hi-Tech sector, for both startups as well as a large Hi-Tech corporation with overseas branches. I will explain the origins of the Israelis direct approach (called here Doogri), the hierarchical system and the dynamic business culture. I will share personal stories and experiences from cross cultural meeting rooms as well as one on one encounters so that you can better understand how we conduct business here. We shall also break the code and learn how Israel became the Startup Nation

After a twenty year career in senior marketing and sales positions in the Israel Hi-Tech sector, propelled by the love of my country, I was drawn to guiding and successfully passed a two year course that awarded me with a government approved tour guide license. I guide through stories with the aims of giving each visitor a unique and unforgettable experience connecting you with the land, the people, and the unique culture and history of Israel.
